    Edge of dry wash. Mainly broken quartzite, limestone. Dominates include Ambrosia dumosa, Ephedra, Larrea. Others: Mirabilis, Grayia, [see label for full list].

    Herbaceous annual; stem glabrous, 2-3dm; leaves oblanceolate proximally, lanceolate distally, sparsely toothed margin, sagittate to clasping; anthers purple; fruit rounded, flattened, winged, notched at tip. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
