SA 361 PLANTS OF THE GUIANAS Campanulaceae Centropogon cornutus (L.) Druce Det. C.L. Kelloff, I 2011 GUYANA. Cuyuni-Mazaruni. Kako River, vicinity of Camp 3, ca 21 air kilometers east of Tulameng summit (summit 1534m, N 5°33'27.1", W 60°59'34.7"). 490 m 5°33'33.7"N 60°47'3.8"W. Riparian forest around established Amerindian camp. Seasonally flooded, brown sand laterite. Disturbed. Erect herb. Leaves with white teeth. Inflor/infructescence axillary, solitary. Calyx green, corolla red. Stigma exserted, capitate, white, with purple hairs beneath. Fruit a green capsule. Emerald- throated hummingbird seen visiting. Silica sample. K.M.
