Harrisburg; 0.2 mi N of US Rt. 45; 0.3 mi SW of Middle
Fork of the Saline River, just south of Krigia Flats
Natural Area. Elev. 350-360 ft. Seasonally wet
clay-silt-sand mix; at field drainage.
Open meadow , W side of marsh alongside fallow
agricultural fields. Stems shiny-green, reddish at
base, flattened; local in large colony; rhizomatous
perennial, dark line at top of lower sheaths.
