Description
Tree up to 55 ft. high, and up to 24 inches diameter. Trees scattered in small groves over an area of several thousand acres. Smaller and young trees common. One central stem or trunk, the general shape pyramidal, but the crowns fairly open. Floiage slightly grayish or bluish-green. Bark of young trees exfoliating, of the older trees flaked, only slightly fissured. Cones borne early (8-10 year old tree). Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
