Nee, 2008 Massachusetts, Worcester Co., northeastern outskirts of Sturbridge, along Hwy. 20 (Main Street) between New Boston Road and Fairground Road. 42 06'46"N, 72 05'09" W alt. 180 m. Brushy area with small trees, between road and edge of Cedar Pond, with Betula populifolia, Aronia melanocarpa, Spiraea alba, Elaeagnus umbellata, Ilex verticillata. Shrub 3 m. tall. Fruit green. A number of similar plants here, some probably planted, some probably naturalized but beneath power lines where the vegetation is often cleared, so hard to tell the status.
