Long.: 120°56’03”W (WGS84 Datum). Elev. 4350 ft.
Ledges and cracks of SW-facing serpentine outcrop with
Artemisia. Cheilanthes. Polvpodium & Adiantum. Unarmed
shrub ca. 1.5 m tall; leaf blades ovate, shallowly pinnately lobed
and serrate, to 5 cm long, not decurrent on petioles (the latter to
15 mm long); petals 5, white, oblanceolate + 2 mm long, erose
to crenulate distally; stamens 20; pistils 5, strongly hirsute,
