woodland/grassland in sandy soil, sandstone and quartz rocks on slopes, with
Quercus fusiformis, Q. stellata, Diospyros texana, Prosopis glandulosa, and
Mimosa borealis predominating.
Common in moist margins of pond. Rowers dark pink.
