U.S.A. LOUISIANA. Lafayette Parish: Lafayette, N of
Hwy. 1-10 and E of Hwy. LA 182; 0.6 mile N of Hwy. I-
10 by Hwy. LA 182, then 0.5 mile E of Jet. Hwy. LA
182 and Couret Drive; Moore Park, corner of fenced area
under powerline, across Couret Drive from lotus pond,
degraded site with dumped(?) concrete; poorly drained
loamy clay, with Saiix nigra, Acer rubrum, Myrica
cerífera, Quercus nigra, Q. virginiana, Baccharis, Sapium,
Juniperus, Lonicera japónica, Rhus radicans, Ampe/opsis
arbórea, Hypericum hypericoides, Paspalum urvillei,
Juncus marginatus, J. effusus, Rubus spp., Verbena sp.,
Lythrum, Ambrosia trífida, Cyperus cephalanthus, C.
virens, C. reflexus, C. pseudovegetus, C. oxylepis, C.
elegans, C. fraternus, Kyllinga brevifolia, Carex frankii,
Eleocharis montevidensis, E. montana, and Fimbristylis;
locally common in low clearing.
