Bog on northeast side of pond. Elevation ca. 420 m. Mostly open bog community with scattered shrubs and island-like clusters of Picea mariana and a few scattered Pinus strobus. Mostly at edge of bog near open water in dark, mucky soil. Colonial; associated with various species of Carex. D. E. Boufford & A. K.
