near the outlet of Little Springs Canyon drainage; Santa
Catalina North USGS 7.5' quad; near 33°23'15,,N
118°28,23"W; ca 1-2 meters elevation.
Localized colony along slow, sluggish stream
emptying to the harbor. Foliage bright green; rhizomes
with tuber-like nodes; growing intermixed with Scirpus
pungens.
