Habitat
Patchwork of sand dunes, cobble beach, with peat bogs. Sand, gravel, boulders, peat, saltmarsh. Locally abundant sedge in salt flats, brackish, shoreward of cobbles. Colonial perennial in peaty muck, north of cobble beach.
