above, whitened below. common in black spruce-
jack pine-larsh-trem.bling aspen community, all trees
growing in close association, along Kakisa lake
road about 3/4 mile from junction with highway,
shrubs: Betula glandulosa, Shepherdia, Ledum,
Salix, Potentina. herbs: Oryzopsis spp., Orchis,
Erigeron.
