    Rocky, southeast-facing ridge and upper slopes. Artemisia tripartita community with scattered Pinus flexilis and Pseudotsuga menziesii, also with Pachistima myrsinites, Leucopoa kingii, Achillea millifolium, Sedum debile, Castilleja appelgatei. Uncommon. Garden City limestone.
