Johnston City 7.5 min quadrangle. Elevation 390-400
feet. Wet sandy silt.
Roadside and powerline rights-of-way; wet meadow
adjoining floodplain forest, near drainage ditch; with
Apios, Clematis pitched, Phlox glaberrima,
Panicum spp., Carex spp. Occasional erect perennial
herb 1.5 meter stall, young fruit green, male flowers
cream-white, anthers pendulous.
