Ranunculus repens L.
NEW YORK, SUFFOLK CO.: Huntington Station, in the Paumonek
Wetland, west of Walt Whitman High School, at the southeast corner of
Paumonek Drive and Jericho Turnpike, next to the road sign. 2 or 3
plants; yellow flowers; sprawling habit. In dry, sandy, gritty curb-side
soil at the edge of an Oak-Hickory Mesic Woodland with Artemisia
vulgaris, Acer platanoides, and Alliaria petiolata.
