Long. Neeleyville, south side of Missouri Route 142,
about 3,300 feet west of U.S. Route 67; elevation about
300 feet. [Note: Corkwood Conservation Area is 0.25
mile west of Neeley ville on south side of Hwy. 142].
Bottomland forest in landscape depression (old
sinkholes?), swamp margin, with Cephalanthus,
Liquidambar, Acer, Fraxinus. Flowers small, yellow,
erect; locally frequent fleshy herb; those in dense
patches much smaller than isolated plants.
