Habitat
On rocky, south-facing slopes below cliffs. With Quercus and Populus. Locally abundant.

Description
Corollas pale blue to sky blue, the lobes darker blue, tube base more violet, abaxial side of throat paler and with violet lines leading into the abaxial lobes; anthers white abaxially, black adaxially, white wooly pubescent. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fertile.
