    Roadcut slope. With Juniperus, Melilotus officinalis, Hymenoxys, Pinus edulis, Quercus gambelii, Streptanthus cordatus, Ephedra viridis, Penstemon comarrhenus, Amelanchier utahensis, Yucca baccata, Lomatium parryi, Allium, Mirabilis multiflora. Locally common on top of slope. In red shaley soil.

    Herbaceous perennial, 1/2 - 2/3 m tall, leaves glaucous-green, flowers lavender blue. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower, Fruit.
