Margins of unpaved road near entrance to reserve. Growing with: Manilkara zapota, Swietenia macrophylla, Nectandra sp., Attalea cohune, Psychotria spp., Hamelia spp. Limestone substrate.

Tree. Tree ca. 8 m tall, dbh 0.2 m; bark lustrous, brown; fruit green.
