drainage into the Savannah River; area recently
logged; formerly hardwoods. Site #18 (Lat.
34°02t33"; Long. 82°36l27"), about 2.5 miles
north of the Russell Dam construction site on
the Savannah. Below the 475-ft. contour (full
pool for proposed Russell Lake).
