19.328’ N. Lat. 80° 38.85’ W. Long. Harrisburg; south
side of North Carolina Route 49, 0.1-0.3 miles east of
junction with Roberta Road (SSR 1304), just west of
Texaco Truckstop and gas station. 2.4 miles east of
Mecklenburg County line. Elevation 610 feet. Piedmont;
very disturbed moist reddish to paler sandy clay.
Fallow agricultural land with Ranunculus, Senecio,
Veronica, Vicia, Trifolium, grasses, alongside very
disturbed intermittent drainage with degraded floodplain
forest.Flowers yellow, inconspicuous; fruits immature;
occasional, scattered biennial or annual herb in field;
apparently dwarfed by regional drought.
