Small treelet 5.5 m. tall, 10 cm. in diameter, in partial shade
of trees. In full bloom; flowers with musty fragrance like
those of many white-flowered Rosaceae, visited by a small
bumblebee and honeybees. A collection from this species,
perhaps one of these plants, made with immature fruit, 11
Sept. 2004 under no. 52882.
