Trees and shrubs knocked over or damaged by Hurricane
Irene. Cultivated ornamental shrub, 7 m. tall, with a single
stem, 18 cm. in diameter, rotten on one side (nearing
maximum age and size for this species?). Fruit yellow-
green.
Voucher for wood specimen, MADw. Wood specimen from
an upper branch.
