Lowlands N of Grist Mill Pond; Fraxinus ?biltmoreana (2 cut-and-sprouting individuals) at edge of somewhat fragmented woods with much Acer rubrum, Quercus alba, Q. velutina (oaks 5-8 dm dbh); less Pinus strobus, Fraxinus americana, Ulmus americana, Q. palustris; shrubs, Frangula alnus; on ground, Parthenocissus, Toxicodendron radicans (Carex ?criinita in ditch).

Description
Small tree ca 20 cm dbh cut and sprouted with vigor; >10 sprouts ca 2-3 m tall; see similar tree 20 m to N (2016.08-60B). No fruit.
