quadrangle. Well-drained sandy humus on shaded
west-facing slopes.
In partial shade, disturbed forest, with Ulmus, Acer
saccharinum, Populus, Celtis, Carex.Flowers yellow,
inconspicuous; scattered perennial herb; fruits green.
