Northern Sierra Nevada Mtns. Foothills: Volcanoville Road (end
of maintained road), 5.1 miles northwest of Bear Foot Road, at site
of Volcanoville (Georgetown 7.5’ Q.: 38°58'54"N, 120°47,18"W,
±100m). Alt.: 960m/3150ft. Large, graded, clay flat surrounded
by coniferous forest and much chaparral.
Common; growing up through Chamaebatiafoliolosa on a rocky
roadside bank.
