San Gabriel Mountains: Lake View Terrace, ridge to the
immediate west of Oliver Canyon, 0.8 air mile N of 1-210 Fwy.
(Sunland 7.5’ Q.: 34°16'46"N, 118°20'54"W, ±100m; T2N R14 W
S9). Alt.: 494m/1620ft. Area not burned in fire of 2009, gentle
S-facing slope of ridge; coastal sage scrub, chaparral, and annual
grassland, dominants include Bromus madritensis, Brassica
geniculata, B. nigra, Salvia mellifera, Centauria mellitensis.
