Delphinium gtaucum S. Wats.
JUNEAU ICEFIELD: Approximately 4 miles north-
west of Camp 26 (FGER) on Marble Mountain Nuna-
tak. Elevation approximately 5,200', just
above meltwater pond within dense vegetation
in relatively deep soil high in organics and
with scattered rock material. Pm low grade
metamorphics and metasediments. On steep
lower mid-slope with a south-southwest aspect.
Occasional, with Epilobium latifolia3 SaVix
spp., Agoseris aurantiaca, Cerastium beer-
ingiamm, Artemisia arctica, and Solidago
multivadiata. Plants perennial, robust, and
up to 1.5' tall. Stems hollow. Flowers
purple but mostly dried; fruits green and
brownish purple.
