n. of Selah, 1/2 mile s. of top of last (N)
divide on Wenas-Road grade, jgst inside
Yakima Co. plants occasionally to 8 dm tall,
mostly single-steiamed (to 3) from a cluster
of short fleshy roots, not at all fibrous
like those of 20882; leaves decidedly dimorphic
not nearly so fleshy as those of #20882, these
plants apparently growing under optixaum con-
ditions and their size not due to stunting;
sepals deep blue, mostly pointed forward
(cupped) rather than spreading, about equal;
lowsr petals colored nearly as deeply as sepals
conspicuously bifid; upper petals pale blue;
stems not at all fistulose; plants numsrous,
(consistently crisp-puberulent
