PLANTS OF IDAHO 20635 Delphinium depauperatum Nut tall BOISE CO: sandy wash ca 21 miles w of Lowman along road to Banks; plants in moist soil, where later dry (no running water) with Sidalcea, Quamassia, and Hfrimilus plants readily saparating from the small tub- erous fleshy roots, all more or less viscid puberulent; leaves rather fleshy; flowers in spike-like racemes, pedicels shorter than the spur which much exceeds the blade of the upper sepal; sepals deep blue, the lower thrust forward slightly, rather than reflexed; loner petals similar in color, upper lighter (nearly white) and with 7 of blae at the tip; stems mostly glabrous or spreading-phberulent beliw the inflorescence, with some tendency toward crispness Coll* by C* Leo Hitchcock C* V.
