Monroe County: T72N R18W Section 34 S2 SW4 SW4 SE4 This site occurs about 6.5 miles southwest of Albia and on the Southern Iowa Drift Plain. Clematis virainiana grows on an approximately 3 meter tall Ulmus rubra sapling in the north right-of-way of a gravel road. It is associated with Apios americana. Eupatorium rugosum, Geum canadense.
