CANADA, BRITISH COLUMBIA: Canal Flats, ca 0.2 mi
N of historic point on hwy 95; floodplain of
Kootenay River. Elev. 3000'. Slightly drier area
than adjacent willow marsh, with Poa pratensis,
Carex oederi, C. buxbaumii, Vicia americana, and
Senecio pauperculus.
Plants abundant; slightly caespitose; perianth
blue-violet; outer tepals elliptic-oblanceolate,
with emarginate or retuse and aristulate apex.
Filaments purple. Plants from this population
with ^48.
