Ranunculus testiculatus is infrequent to common in crushed limestone over mineral soil in the parking areas next to camp sites in the South Lake Campground. The flowers have light yellow petals. Blooming genets are infrequent and most genets have light green fruits. Genets in more sunny sites appear to have yellow, drying leaves, while genets in more shaded sites have green leaves.
