Ada Hayden Herbarium Iowa State University Flora of Iowa Ranunculus testiculatus Crantz Davis County: T70N R15W Section 33 NE4 SW4 NW4 SE4 UTM (NAD83,15T): 534664 East, 4518611 North 40°49’ 10.8857" North, 92° 35’ 20.3326" West Lake Wapello State Park is owned by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and is approximately 9 miles northwest of Bloomfield. It is on the Southern Iowa Drift Rain. Ranunculus testiculatus is common in the outer perimeter of the visitor parking area in the campground. It occurs in crushed limestone over mineral soil. Ranunculus testiculatus also occurs in bare mineral soil with scattered crushed limestone at the edge of the parking area. At least 90 percent of the genets only have fruits. The petals are pale yellow. This site is a fairly sunny location most of the day. Ranunculus testiculatus is associated with Draba reptans. Poa annua and Veronica arvensis. Mark J.
