Miami Lake Area is approximately 5.6 miles north/northwest of Albia, owned
by the Monroe County Conservation Board and on the Southern Iowa Drift
Plain. Ranunculus testiculatus is infrequent in the recreational vehicle portion
of the campground in crushed limestone over mineral soil at the base of a
post with electrical and water hookups for site #23. The plants are locally
common and the majority only have fruits. Most plants are pale green or light
yellow (probably senesdng, especially the light yellow plants). Plants also
occurred in crushed limestone/asphalt adjacent to the hookups.
