Lacey-Keosauqua State Park is owned by vie Iowa Department of Natural
Resources and is just south of Keosauqua.yThe park is on the Southern Iowa
Drift Plain.
Ranunculus testiculatus is locally common in crushed limestone over mineral
soil in camping pads in the recreational vehicle (RV) portion of the
campground. Genets also occur in mineral soil adjacent to the camping pads.
These sites occur under trees and the campground is surrounded by oak-
hickory forest. Most genets of Ranunculus testiculatus have green fruits,
while only a few have flower buds. Ranunculus testiculatus is associated with
Capsella bursa-pastoris. Clavtonia virainica. Draba reptans and Taraxacum
officinale.
