Sharon Bluffs State Park is owned by the Iowa DNR and managed by the
Appanoose County Conservation Board. It is approximately 2.2 miles east of
Centerville and on the Southern Iowa Drift Plain.
1000+ Ranunculus testiculatus occur in crushed limestone over mineral soil in
the west end of the southernmost parking area next to a camp site in the
recreational vehicle portion of the campground. Only plants with fruits are
present. Ranunculus testiculatus is associated with Androsace occidentals.
Capsella bursa-pastoris. Cerastium vulaatum. Stellaria media. Taraxacum
officinale and Veronica arvensis.
