of Slate Creek, loam soil; w/Salix, Carex, Potentilla gracilis,
Achillea millefolium, Muhlenbergia, Antermaria rosea, Phleum
alpinum; Pinus contorta ssp. murrayana nearby.
Common perennial herb, rhizomatous; ligules light purple, disk
corollas yellow. [Close to S.foliaceum parryi in phyliary
character.]
