NEW YORKJOTANICAL GARDEN 02726941 GREAT BURN PROPOSED WILDERNESS AREA MINERAL COUNTY, MONTANA Aconitum. columblanum Nutt. Moist gravelly loam, 350° aspect, 7# slope, and 1829 m (6000 ft.). Collected in the vicinity of a rocky seep along the trail to Pearl Lake and above the west end of Heart Lake. The surrounding area is a subalpine forest burned 75+ years ago and still dominated by shrubs and herbaceous plants. Twenty individuals present.
