YUCAIPA /OAK GLEN AREA: “Johnson Canyon” (local name,
not on map). Directly S of Wood Acres Apple Ranch, just E of
intersection of Potato Cyn Rd. and Oak Glen Rd. Dense shrubby
& herbaceous vegetation along ephemeral stream. Conspicuous
species include Urtica dioica, Toxicodendron diversilobum,
Quercus chrysolepis; occas. Alnus rhombifolia.
Scarce shrub (2 seen) in canyon bottom.
