  • Description

    Pileus: 2-4.5 cm broad at first convex (papillate) then nearly plane with still a decurred margin and a broad umbonate aspect. dry, finelly radially fibrillose; cold 7.5 YR 4/5 (#75 deep yellowish brown) uniform, but in a few specimens close to 10 YR 4/5 near cneter, margin slightly and irregularly undulate in older matured. context: thin, grayish-brown (8.5YR 6/4). gills: sinuate, thin, broad, 3-4 tiers of lamellae; when young, color 10R 3/6 (between #16 dark red & #40 strong reddish brown/morocco red) becoming 2.5 YR 4/5 (#58 moderate brown/hazel-russet); covered with a cortine-like veil when immature whose color is the same as the pileus. spores brown in deposit 5YR 4/6. stipe; 3.5-6.5 cm x 4-12 mm, dry, equal to very slightly swollen at the base, longitudinally fibrillose (minutley); color 2.5Y 6/6 (#87 moderate yellow - not too good a fit / honey yellow R - excellent fit) same fibrillose areas 10 YR 5/7. a fugaceous, orange-rust colored annulus is evident on the stipe of som. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
