Tall, clumpy, coarse shrubs 3-5 m. tall,
with ascending-erect branches and racemes.
Petals white or faintly pinkish, broadly
elliptic-oblanceolate, 7-10 mm long. Sepals
at first erect-appressed, then spreading.
Ovary glabrous across the top.
