Recently I received a specimen of what I
take to Tie Hoffman^seggia falcaria from Harley, Okla.,
where it is said to be a pestiferous weed. Since
Oklahoma is not included in the distribution of Hoffman-
seggia as reported in the Illustrated Flora, I thought
possibly you would like to have this information. En-
closed herewith is a specimen of the plant*
