Beginning at the start of this road in Manaus, used the measurement tool to measure approximately 97 km. (97.0002 km.) along the road toward Caracaraí. Then, used Google Maps to locate Balbina. Located the road that connects BR-174 (at approximately 97 km. along BR-174) to Balbina, Estrada de Balbina (AM-240). Used measurement tool to measure 70 km. (70.0024 km.) along AM-240 toward Balbina. Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates. Used measurement tool again (Google Maps) to measure the linear extent of Presidente Figueiredo (município where Balbina is located). Input coordinates, linear extent (144792.5 m.), measurement error (.1 m.), and distance precision (100 m.) into the MaNIS Georeferncing Calculator to calculate the uncertainty radius.
