PLANTS OF ILLINOIS, USA Gvmnocladus dioicus (L.) K.Koch Fabaceae - Caesalpiniaceae Det.: S.R.Hill, (ILLS) 2004 OGLE COUNTY 42° 02’ 55.4” N. Lat. 089° 20’ 48.1” W. Long. T. 24N, R. 10E, SE1/4 NE 1/4 SW 1/4 to SW1/4 SW1/4 SE 1/4 SECT. 28 About 1 mile north of Oregon. East-facing slopes along the west side of Illinois Route 2, generally between the main [southern] entrance road to the Stronghold and Blackhawk Presbytery and the camp and an iron-gated stone entrance, 0.8 kilometers north of the southern (main) entrance. Elevation about 699-722 feet. Below dolomite outcrop Mesic to wet-mesic upland forest. Infrequent sapling 2 meters tall, immature; leaves somewhat pale, glaucous beneath. Steven R.
