then S) across Econfina River on Mossy Hammock Road ca 0.6
mile, then NE on gated limerock road just under 0.7 mile,
then ca 500’ NW of road in basin swamp (bottomland forest
mosaic). Basin swamp (1-3’ water) with Leitneria floridana
(abundant), Rosa palustris. Hypericum galioides, Fraxinus
caroliniana, Salix caroliniana. Iris hexagona. Carex
lupuliformis, Polygonum hvdropjperoides. Pontederia. Large
tree (over 20 m tall); trunk moderately covered in spines;
fruits immature, reddish-brown.
