On moderately steep, south-facing slope along Bond
Creek which flows into the Savannah River. Site
#53 (Lat. 34°X2'23*; Long. 82°43f15"), about one
mile east of the Savannah and about one mile south
of the Anderson-Abbeville County line. Below the
475-ft. contour (full pool for proposed Russell
Lake)« Area to be impounded in 11^-1980*8.
