Habitat
Bordered by Pinus jeffreyi forest on S, Artemisia tridentata scrub on N, with few shrubs on flat. With Calyptridium umbellatum, Lupinus duranii, Chrysothamnus parryi, Gayophytum diffusum, Elymus elymoides, Mimulus mephiticus, & Achnatherum occidentalis. Occasional, but widespread across flat. Broad sand flat of coarse pumice soil.
