Description
Robust shrubs to 2.5 m tall; petals deep magenta; antepetalous anthers deep red; antesepalous ones yellow as the appendages; capsules mixed with spreading glandular hairs; sepals erect or ascending in fruit. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
