This specimen was determined by Mr.J.H.lIaiden as
A. deourrens dealbata with the synonym A* dealbata• This
species is largely planted in California, makijK fine
avenues fully as attractive as those of A. nelanoxylon*
Zt blooms profusely in February or liaroh, and is*follawed
by quantities of reddish pods*
